If you sell packaged goods or empty packaging on Amazon.co.uk in the UK, you must comply with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
If you’re not established in the UK, Amazon will assume reporting obligations for your sales on Amazon.co.uk in the UK and automatically enrol you in our Pay on Behalf service. Amazon will report your sales data to the appropriate agency and pay applicable eco-contributions for these sales to the Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) selected by us. Starting April 1, 2024, Amazon reserves the right to charge you the eco-contributions that we pay to ensure that your sales comply with the EPR requirements policy for third-party sellers in the United Kingdom.
